General Overview

No shipyard embodies Italian style and elegance quite like Riva; the most renowned shipyard in the world. And Kar, Riva Folgore 88, is the perfect example. The Vessel was meticulously crafted in 2021 and then fully refitted in 2024.

KAR captures the essence of a contemporary sporty flybridge yacht – a seamless blend of power, cutting-edge design, and exceptional beauty. Fitted with zero-speed stabilizers and a range of tailored features, KAR guarantees an extraordinary luxury experience.

KAR is very flexible and eager to take on charters in Italy, including the Amalfi Coast, Capri, Sicily, and Sardinia, and is also available for the South of France.
She winters in Sanremo and relocates to Naples/Amalfi for the summer, making Sardinia a convenient stop on her way south. 2025 cruising plan: May: France and Sardinia (available for SOF events) – June: Sardinia and Amalfi Coast – July/August: Amalfi Coast – September/October: Amalfi Coast, Sardinia and SOF

Interiors

The bright and spacious salon greets guests with large windows and distinctive architectural details, offering a cozy seating area with a luxurious sofa and a dining space featuring a large table that comfortably seats up to 10 guests. TV 55″ + Decoder.

With 4 staterooms on the lower deck, KAR can host up to 8 guests, all expertly cared for by a dedicated crew of 4.

Exteriors

As a sporty flybridge yacht, KAR takes full advantage of its outdoor spaces, including an inviting aft deck dining area with seating for 8, sheltered by a bimini and lateral tents, expansive seating and lounging areas on the flybridge and additional living area on the foredeck with table and C-shaped sofa, sheltered by a custom tent.
The huge astern beach club, equipped by a very comfortable shower, gives easy access to the sea.

Captain – Arturo Arena, Italian & Greek
“Hello! I’m Captain Arturo, a passionate sailor with both Italian and Greek heritage. Raised by the sea, I’ve transformed my love for the ocean into a way of life. As an experienced yacht captain, I specialize in creating unforgettable maritime experiences that blend the elegance of Italian style with the warmth of Greek hospitality. My mission is to ensure every voyage is nothing short of extraordinary, filled with adventure, relaxation, and memories that will last a lifetime.” Arturo’s CV boasts a wide range of qualifications and experiences, including Master 200GT, Master 500GT, and a PADI License. He has years of chartering experience in some of the most iconic Mediterranean destinations, such as the South of France, Corsica & Sardinia, the Amalfi Coast, and Sicily. Additionally, Arturo has participated in an Arctic mission, navigating as far as the North Pole. His extensive expertise, combined with his friendly and accommodating nature, makes him a trusted and approachable captain who is always dedicated to ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for his clients.
Italian native speaker, Arturo is fluent in English and he also speaks Greek.

Chef – Elena Bianchini, Italian
Elena began her professional journey as an accountant, holding a degree in economics, but soon realized that her true passion lay in the culinary arts. Following her heart, she made a bold career change, immersing herself in the world of cooking and perfecting her craft as a chef. Drawing from her roots, Elena masterfully blends the rich tradition of handmade stuffed pastas with the vibrant flavors of the Amalfi Coast, the Mediterranean, and the sea. Her dishes offer a delightful journey through the diverse regional flavors of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, celebrating both land and sea.
Elena is a native Italian speaker and is also fluent in English.

Deckhand – Leonardo Zucchitta, Italian
Leonardo developed his deep love and understanding of the sea in his hometown of Rosignano, a charming fishing port along the Tuscan coast. After graduating from the prestigious Italian Nautical School A. Cappellini, he made the decision to dedicate his life to the sea. His sailing journey began in 2008, an experience that not only sparked his passion but also taught him the values of teamwork and perseverance. In 2015, after completing his studies, he turned his passion into a profession by enrolling in the Professional YachtMaster Ocean course at UKSA in Cowes. This marked the beginning of a rewarding career on the water. Following a year as a deckhand on the Southern Wind 100ft, Leonardo seized the opportunity to take on the role of Deck/Engineer aboard KAR.
Italian native speaker, Leonardo also speaks English proficiently.

Stewardess – Erika Parola, Italian
Erika hails from Naples, a young woman with a deep passion for languages and cultures. She studied English, French, and Spanish at school and went on to graduate in Modern Languages, honing her exceptional communication and public relations skills. A true traveler at heart, Erika’s experiences in Spain and England have not only enriched her language abilities but also broadened her understanding of different cultures. She describes herself as energetic, results-driven, hardworking, disciplined, and confident—qualities that make her an expert in hospitality and customer service.
She speaks Italian as first language, fluent in English and Spanish, Erika thrives in environments where communication and connection are key.

Rates and Terms

KAR Riva 88 Folgore Charter MotorYacht weekly rates: (MYBA, WMT)
High Season: August/July and Events: € 75.000,00 + VAT + APA;
Low Season: All Other Months: € 65.000,00 + VAT + APA.

Daily Rates:
– Low Season: €10.800 + VAT + APA
– High Season: €12.500€ + VAT + APA

Pet Friendly policy: €5.000 Security Deposit – upon approval

Rates include: Fully equipped yacht hire, yacht insurance, crew food and wages, usage of water toys on board, and yacht laundry fees.

Rates do not include: guests’ food and beverages, fuel for the yacht, fuel for the tender and the water toys, dockage fees (if any), communication costs (if any), cruising permit fees (protected areas, National Parks, etc…), personal laundry fees, crew gratuity, VAT where applicable.
