General Overview

Jauni charter motoryacht is in really excellent conditions. She can sleep up to 8 guests in 4 suites; crew of 4 members in separate quarter.

Summer base Castellammare Naples, winter in Palermo Sicily; very flexible to be delivered anywhere in the Mediterranean.

Interiors

Jauni charter motoryacht’s interiors offer a wide salon with U-shaped sofa, flat screen TV, large windows giving brightness to the area and a comfortable dining table for 8/10 guests. The moquette floor has been replaced with new wooden floor during 2013/2014 winter (pictures available upon request). The fully equipped galley is forward the salon, such as the main deck day toilet, the wheelhouse and the crew dining table.  Jauni offers accomodation to 8 guests in 4 suites:

1 aft Owner stateroom with Queen size bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers, reading lights, stereo radio, TV 22′ LCD, Decoder, DVD player and digital terrestrial decoder. Ensuite head provided with washbasin, toilet cabinet, toilet, bidet, separate shower; Safe, Refrigerator, double dressing room.

1 forward VIP stateroom with Queen size bed, chest of drawers, reading lights and stereo radio with remote control, LCD TV, walk-in wardrobe with hanging and drawer storage below the porthole; bathroom provided with sink, toilet cabinet, toilet, bidet and separate shower

2 x guests Twin staterooms with 2 separated single beds each (LCD TV in each cabin); each twin cabin features his own and private toilet with separate shower.

Exteriors

The deck offers wide areas typical of significantly larger yachts: a forward sunbathing area equipped with cushions; the flybridge features a further sundeck and a further dining table with seats while the Jacuzzi allows guests the optimum level of enjoyment and epitomizes true relaxation. The huge cockpit also offers a dining table for al fresco dining and gives access to the bathing platform for an easy access to the sea.

All sun deck areas have new sunbathing cushions.

Captain:

Giovanni Paternostro, Italian

Giovanni is 40 years old and has always worked at sea, following his father first and walking alone later. Giovanni started to work in the charter industry in 2002, as deckhand in a 22 mt ketch SY owned by his father, where he worked in 2003 also, cruising the Mediterranean. In 2004 he worked as deckhand and dive master on a gulet cruising the Red Sea whilst the year later, always employed by his father Company, he worked on another gulet as deckhand and help cook in Sicily. In 2006 he was employed as chef on a 26 mt gulet cruising Naples area, and accepting sometimes to be employed as skipper on bareboat charter catamarans. In 2009, 2011 and 2012 Giovanni worked with his father Salvatore as chef on Pampero, Ferretti 760 based in Naples. In 2010 he was employed always as chef on a 26 mt gulet cruising Naples Gulf as well. Giovanni spent the 2018 charter season as Captain on Forever, Aicon 72 together with Chef Salvatore, his good friend; they are a tight-knit and motivated team of young professionals.
Giovanni is willing to improve his skills and his professionalism to always grow and give his best in life and job. That’s why he passed his final exams to become a certified Charter Captain; having a lot of experience as skipper in sailing yachts for charter, as second officer in motor yachts, he is in a position to be an excellent and versatile Captain. Giovanni has a sunny character and speaks fluent English

Chef:

Antonio Paternostro, Italian

Antonio, better known as Nino, is Captain Giovanni’s younger brother. He grew up following his father and brother passion for the sea; in facts after his diploma at the Scientific High School, he turned his career into the very fervor of his life, starting to study in order to became a sea professional. Along this road, he found out his passion for food and cooking too and, as a good Sicilian, his dishes are to die for! He got the Nautical license and after all he gained a lot of experience sailing, collecting thousand and thousand nautical miles cruising both in motoryachts and sailingyachts. Before joining JAUNI in 2013 as deckhand, he spent many years working for other owning companies; his first employment was in 1994 on S/Y Almira, a Turkish Gulet, as chef. He worked for other yacht charter companies over the years, as skipper, as deckhand and as chef. Nino is actually a seaman, born and raised in a seaside Sicilian village who could not conceive of living or working away from the sea. He is Italian mother tongue and speaks good English.

Stewardess:

Paola Ciardi, Italian

Paola  was born and raised in Naples. Growing up so close to the enchanting Naples’ sea which is also an open-air museum, Paola naturally developed an affinity for the water and a deep interest for the Naples’ history which gave her an appreciation for all things and adventures that nature has to offer. In fact she is a tourist guide enabled for Campania Region, who more that Paola can watch out for you during your charters in the Naples Gulf?Paola has achieved a degree in Oriental Languages but she can speak fluent English and French too. Until 5 years ago, when she joined Jauni’s crew, she was a French teacher at the secondary school; now she combines the love for education with her adventurous aim being onboard Jauni and cooperating with a lay association against educational poverty.

Deckhand:

Francesco Bellante, Italian

Francesco Bellante was born in Palermo, resident in Aspra a seaside town, lover of the sea in all its forms to which he dedicates his life. He has been a deckhand for about 6 years with experience on catamarans, sailboats and yachts. Francesco is a kind and organized young man. He speaks Italian as his native language and basic English which he is improving more and more.

Rates and Terms

Jauni Amer 86 Charter Motoryacht weekly rates (MYBA, WMT):

High Seasono: July/August and events: € 42.000,00 + VAT + APA;
Mid Season: June/September: € 34.000,00 + VAT + APA;
Low Season: Other months: € 29.000,00 + VAT + APA.

Rates include: Fully equipped yacht hire, yacht insurance, crew food and wages, usage of water toys on board, yacht laundry fees.

Rates do not include: guests food and beverages, fuel for the yacht, fuel for the tender and the water toys,
dockage fees (if any), communication costs (if any), cruising permit fees (protected areas, National Parks, etc…), personal laundry fees, crew gratuity, VAT where applicable.
