General Overview
Built by Benetti Shipyard in 1964, Vervece charter motoryacht had a full refit at the Palumbo yard in 2013 to convert her into the luxury yacht she is today preserving the original character of a Tug vessel. Vervece offers accommodation for 8 (+2) guests in 4 comfortable suites.
Vervece charter motoryacht built from steel, with exceptional seakeeping qualities, she cruises at 10 knots and reaches maximum speeds of 12 knots.
Vervece charter motoryacht is based Gaeta not far from Naples.
Crew of 6 + 1 rotational chef.
Interiors
Vervece charter motoryacht interior is extremely modern with a beautiful beach house styled interior that is chic and contemporary. White furnishings pair perfectly with ash furniture, white lacquer, solid wood and pops of colour. Able to welcome 8 (+2 ) guests on board, all guest accommodation is spacious and beautifully styled. Full beam double bedded Master Stateroom with Queen Size bed, features a sofa, a dressing table, double wardrobe and ensuite toilet with shower box. The double VIP stateroom with Queen Size bed, ensuite toilet & two separate showers has an anteroom with a little studio, shower box and a sofa with bunk bed (191 cm x 75 cm). The 2 twins are both provided with sofa, dressing table, wardrobe and ensuite toilet with shower each. New aloe mattresses.
This layout makes Vervece the ideal yacht for 2 couples or families, or for smaller charter groups alike.
A large light-filled split main saloon features a formal dining area and luxurious lounge seating, with the modern galley located close nearby. Vervece’s talented chef will create an unforgettable charter menu, customised to every group. Vervece also boasts a refined silver cutlery. A second relaxed lounge space can be found on the upper deck, providing another chic space for guests to retreat to.
Exteriors
Outdoor living is part of the irresistible charm of Vervece with expansive spaces over all her decks, featuring al fresco dining options, lounge seating, sun loungers, bar area and more. Guests will be spoilt for choice when deciding where to spend their day on board.

1 Lomac Tender 4.5 m 50hp , 1 Lomac Tender 4 m 40hp, Water ski, Seadoo Scooter, 2 inflatable canoes (1 x 1 pax/1 x 2 pax), Wakeboard, Paddleboard Sup, Banana, Donut, Snorkeling equipment and a new JOBE inflatable platform with inflatable seats 4x2m.

Throughtout the interior living area there is a Bose sound system and a Sony speaker, which can be both connected to via bluetooth.

Captain – Benedetto Spinosa, Italian
Benedetto has been working in the yachting industry since 1999, after attending the Nautical School and Military service in the navy. He has an extensive experience on yachts; he started his career as deckhand becoming a Captain later. He also worked as Engineer being employed over the years on pleasure and charter motor yachts such as on Commercial Ferries.
From 2005 to 2012 he worked on M/Y Whynot, M/Y Sexteen and M/Y Marta. From 2013 up to 2017 he was employed on M/Y Blue East as Chief Officer and Relief Captain, taking care of ship handling, bridge management, itineraries planning, coordination of departments, crew training and recruitment.
Totally inexperienced in chartering, Benedetto accepted the challenge and embarked on Vervece in 2019. With all the determination, precision, and eagerness to learn and grow professionally that distinguishes him, Benedetto has today earned an excellent reputation in the international charter market, boasting outstanding feedback and references. He is always ready to meet his guests requirements and knows the Med very well. He likes to be active during his spare time driving his motorbike and sea fishing.
Italian mother tongue, Benedetto speaks fluent English, basic Spanish & French.
Chef – Paolo Di Massimo, Italian
Born in 1974 in the charming town of Terracina, near Rome, brings a wealth of experience and a passion for the culinary arts. Paolo’s culinary journey began over two decades ago, blending his technical expertise from his Diploma in Business Studies with a fervent love for cooking.
With a nautical license for both sail and motor vessels obtained in 2006, he has served on a variety of yachts. His roles have ranged from deckhand at the beginning of his career to chef, always showcasing his versatility and commitment to excellence in every aspect of yacht service.
His extensive training in maritime safety, survival, firefighting, and first aid ensures that guests are in safe hands, both in the galley and on deck. Paolo’s culinary expertise shines brightest in his role as a yacht chef, where he combines fresh, local ingredients with innovative techniques to create unforgettable dining experiences. Whether it’s a simple, elegant meal or a lavish feast, Paolo’s dishes reflect his deep appreciation for the sea and his Italian heritage.
Paolo’s extensive background, both on land and at sea, promises guests a unique and delightful gastronomic journey.
Paolo is a native Italian speaker and is also fluent in both English and French.
Engineer – Piero Nota, Italian
Piero, a skilled maritime professional hailing born in Grottaferrata (Rome), Italy, in 1997, embodies a robust background in engine department operations. With experience spanning several roles, including Engine Cadet and Engine Officer, Piero has consistently showcased his dedication and expertise in ensuring the efficiency and functionality of maritime equipment and installations.
He holds a Diploma in Certifying Conduction of Maritime Equipment and Installation, with whom he acquired specific technical skills crucial for design, construction, and maintenance within the transportation sector. Further enhancing his capabilities, Piero pursued higher education at the Accademia Italiana della Marina Mercantile, Genova, specializing in Vessel and Onboard Equipment and Systems Management.
Piero’s profile is further enriched by a diverse array of soft and hard skills, underscoring his capability to excel in various facets of maritime operations. Piero demonstrates strong problem-solving, personnel management, and leadership skills, showing adaptability and sound decision-making in dynamic environments. He excels in planning maintenance work and ensuring operational efficiency. His extensive training and certifications validate his competence and dedication to maritime excellence.
Piero speaks Italian as his native language and speaks basic English.
Stewardess – Marina Ferrara, Italian
Marina, born in Sicily in 1976 and residing in Porto Empedocle (AG, Sicily), brings over five years of rich experience to her role as Chief Stewardess. Passionate about her work from the outset, Marina found her calling in the maritime sector, driven by her innate ability to connect with guests. This passion has evolved into a steadfast commitment to excellence, blending seamlessly with her sense of duty and determination to pursue continuous professional growth.
Marina’s work history is highlighted by various roles, including Stewardess and Chief Stewardess aboard several motor yachts such as M/Y Zia Canaia in 2022 and 146m M/N Camomilla in 2023.
Her educational background encompasses certifications like the Certificate for Assisting Persons with Reduced Mobility (PMR) from Academy Tema Safety & Training, HACCP Certification from Pedago S.R.L, and completion of the STCW Course Package from Tecno Italia Safety and Survival Training S.R.L. Additionally, she has refined her service skills through specialized training in Silver Service, etiquette, and housekeeping from SCS Yachting – Darius Academy.
Throughout her career, she has displayed autonomy in managing routine and extraordinary activities, ensuring operational efficiency.
Marina speaks Italian as her native language and English
Deckhand – Francesco Valente , Italian
Francesco, is from the vibrant city of Naples and was born in 1994. Currently charting his course through the University of Nautical Sciences at Parthenope University of Naples, Francesco is navigating the waves of knowledge with the precision of a seasoned captain.
His journey into the maritime world began as a Deckhand aboard the ships of Vetor S.R.L., where he learned the ropes—quite literally—during his tenure from February 2021 to June 2021. Rising through the ranks, Francesco took the helm as a Navigation Officer at Vetor S.R.L, from June 2021 to September 2021 and then again from June 2023 to September 2023.
Venturing into international waters, he embraced the role of 3rd Officer aboard the I.I.S.S. ”G.Caboto”—a Pleasure/Training Ship—where he honed his skills and broadened his horizons from January 2019 to April 2019 and then from July 2019 to October 2019.
Francesco speaks Italian and English.
Officer – Guglielmo Letterio, Italian
Gugliemo born in Milazzo in 1985, is a seasoned deckhand aboard the yacht Verceve, boasting over 14 years of maritime experience. With a vibrant and sociable character, Guglielmo enjoys being surrounded by people and has a profound passion for the sea and maritime life.
His journey in the maritime industry began with his studies at the Genoa Merchant Marine Academy, where he earned his certification as a Deck Officer. With aspirations to specialize in pleasurecraft, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his current role.
Guglielmo’s extensive maritime career includes serving as a Deck Officer for D’Alesio Navigazione on tankers, where he gained invaluable experience in navigation and vessel operations. Additionally, he has worked as a Deck Cadet on tankers and luxury yachts, honing his seamanship skills and deck operations over the years.
Guglielmo speaks Italian as his native language and English.
Rates and Terms
Vervece Benetti Charter MotorYacht weekly rates: (MYBA, WMT)
High Season: August/July and Events: € 49.000,00 + VAT + APA;
Mid Season: June/September: € 38.000,00 + VAT + APA;
Low Season: Other months: € 30.000,00 + VAT + APA.
Rates include: Fully equipped yacht hire, yacht insurance, crew food and wages, usage of water toys on board, yacht laundry fees.
Rates do not include: guests food and beverages, fuel for the yacht, fuel for the tender and the water toys,
dockage fees (if any), communication costs (if any), cruising permit fees (protected areas, National Parks, etc…), personal laundry fees, crew gratuity, VAT where applicable.
