LADY AZUL is a magnificent full displacement yacht from Heesen. Fully refitted in 2019, she has zero speed stabilizers, a large Beach Club with gym incl. AC & TV and a swim platform. LAZY AZUL is of top Dutch build pedigree, and has always been privately used.

Interiors
Lady Azul charter motoryacht main deck offers a bright salon featuring a large couch and seating area. The dining area offers an ample dining table for 10 guests. Separate fully equipped galley. The full beam Owner’s suite is on main deck as well, boasting a super king-size double bed and en-suite bathroom with bath tub, separate shower, bidet, and double basins. The lower deck offers two full-beam VIP staterooms (one forward and one aft) both with king size beds and en-suite bathroom. Two twins with single beds and en-suite bathroom.

Lady Azul charter motoryacht allows guests the optimum level of enjoyment and epitomizes true relaxation thanks to her upper deck with sky lounge and bar, dining area and her further sun deck with dining table and large sun loungers.

Captain
Captain Gerry is 45 years old and is from New Zealand. Gerry was born into a farming family; his passion for the sea drew him to the coast at an early age. In addition to being a captain for 17 years, he has had various maritime related jobs prior to this, working as a commercial diver and a commercial fisherman. He has worked on various vessels including charter vessel ferries, roros and cargo vessels before moving to sailing yachts and finally motor yachts. Throughout his career he has extensively cruised the coasts of New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia and Europe. He has been at the helm of Lady Azul for 4 years.
When not navigating, his interests include engineering, motorbikes and reading. Gerry is married and has 3 children.
Chef
Nobphadon, also known as KO, hails from Thailand. KO commenced his career in the catering and hotel Industry, finding employment mostly in Phuket’s most exclusive resorts, such as the Andaman Beach Suites Hotel and The Lantern Resort, where he held the position of Executive Chef. Throughout his career KO created various recipes in a number of cuisines including European, Thai, and Asian. He’s style is versatile enabling him to create alternative menus at short notice. Over the last 6 years KO also gained experience within the yachting industry having worked as Sole Chef on board the 54m M/Y Lady D.
Chief Engineer
Greg is from Poland. He is a relative new comer to the yachting industry. After holding 3 positions on board yachts in Europe, Greg decided to put his engineer qualifications to use and joined Lady Azul in 2019. He’s a problem solver, fanatical trouble-shooter and an enthusiastic team player with a calm personality. His hobbies are kayaking and motorcycle riding.
First Officer
Farid is from Malaysia. He has been on board Lady Azul with Captain Gerry for the last 3 years, moving up the ranks from deckhand to first officer. He has been in the yachting industry for 12 years. Throughout his career he has cruised extensively around Southeast Asia and the Mediterranean. Having a local and native speaking crew member in this position is a valuable asset when cruising the lesser known routes and unspoilt destinations. Farid is married and has 1 child. His favourite hobby is playing football.
Deckhand
Izuan is from Malaysia. After completing his marine engineering studies in Malaysia in 2016, Izuan opted to carve a career in the yachting industry. He has been on board Lady Azul ever since with Captain Gerry. In his free time Izuan likes to relax by fishing.
Chief Stewardess
Korrawan, also known as Nam, hails from Thailand and is 32 years old. Coming from the manufacturing industry, Nam decided to take a sabbatical in 2016 to learn English and experience different cultures. She then aspired to work on a yacht and completed the Steward and Deckhand Course at Galileo Maritime Academy in Phuket. Since 2017 Nam worked on SY Meltemi and MY Amoha. In addition to her Stewardess skills, she is also specialized in wine appreciation, cocktail making, floral arrangements and she is a fully qualified and experienced Thai Masseuse.
Stewardess
Amira is from Malaysia. Just like Izuan, Amira’s first yachting position was on board Lady Azul with Captain Gerry; she joined the crew for over 2 years now. Prior to this, she successfully completed her Business Administration studies and then joined the hospitality industry in Malaysia. She spends her free time reading and motorcycle touring.
Rates and Conditions
Lady Azul charter motoryacht weekly rate (VAT applicable depending on the cruising area) US $ 133.000 all year round. Rates include: hire, crew in the number indicated, yacht insurance, yacht’s linen laundry. Rates do not include: guests’ food and beverages, fuel for the yacht, for the watercraft and the dinghy, mooring costs, costs for personal communications (internet, fax, if on board), personal laundry costs.
